To Become a Member

To become a member of the ACTA/Club, there are many categories.  Firstly it is a requirement to join an affiliated Clay Target Club.  The Club has the appropriate forms for completing the application.

All club fees are different, they have all the information that an applicant needs to know, however the ACTA fee is also included should the applicant wish to shoot competition at various clubs.

The ACTA Membership Categories and Fees are as follows:

Adult Full Member
This category of membership is $120

Partner Member
This membership is available to the partner of a full member and is $70

Veteran Member
Available to persons who are over the age of 65 years at the time of registration, date of birth is required and costs $70

Long Service Concession
This is available to persons who are over 60 years of age at the time of registration with 30 years or more continuous membership with the ACTA.  Date of birth is required.  This category of membership is $100

Junior Membership
Available to people under the age of 18 years at the time of registration.  Date of birth is required.  This category is $35.

New Start Member
Open to new members only for a period of one membership year to shoot non-competitively.  Cost is $50.

Registrations will not be accepted unless they are on the official registration form.

Note:  Each registered Member receives a Handicap label/card which must be presented at all competition events.  This label/card, as well as providing proof of membership, records each Member’s official grade and handicap.

Half-year Membership applies to new full adult membership only after the 1st July.  Forms must be dated after 1st July and be received in the National Office after 1st July.  Fees are: $60 + levy $5.50 + State Levy $10

Please Note: Half year membership does not apply to Veterans, Partners, Junior or New Start Members.
