VCTA programs

Programs that support participation, junior development, coaching and pathways through Victorian clay target shooting.

School Students Program

The VCTA School Students Program provides structured regional competition opportunities through the Victorian zones, culminating in a state final. Event dates and official information are published through VCTA channels.

Junior development

The Association supports junior development through zones, affiliated clubs and approved development initiatives. Programs are intended to build safe participation, skills, confidence and long-term involvement in the sport.

Coaching

Coaching opportunities are delivered through accredited coaches, clubs, zones and state initiatives. Participants should contact their club or zone for current opportunities.

State teams and representation

State team selection and representative opportunities are conducted under the relevant competition rules and published conditions. Current documents and notices are available through the public document library.

Club support

VCTA Assistance Fund

The VCTA Assistance Fund supports eligible affiliated clubs managing significant compliance, enforcement and regulatory matters arising under the Environment Protection Act 2017 and the functions of EPA Victoria.

Subject to assessment and approval, assistance may contribute toward legal advice, expert technical reports, specialist consultant services and regulatory submissions. The fund is intended as assistance of last resort for clubs that cannot reasonably meet the relevant cost without material hardship.

Applications are submitted in writing to the VCTA Secretary with supporting information and are considered by the VCTA Executive Committee.
